Privacy Policy

Overview

This Privacy Policy describes how we collect, use and share information when you use the Pufimo website and apps. Pufimo is a story app used by young children, so we deliberately collect as little as possible.

Children's privacy

Pufimo is designed for children aged 3–7, and accounts are created and managed by a parent or caregiver. We treat children's privacy as the default, not an add-on:

• We do not show advertising of any kind, and we do not use behavioural or cross-app tracking.
• We do not sell or share personal data, and we do not build advertising profiles.
• We do not ask children for their name, birth date, email address, photo, voice or free-text input.
• A child profile holds only a display name you choose and an age range, used to pick age-appropriate stories.
• Purchases, subscription management and settings sit behind a parent gate, so they cannot be reached by a child alone.

If you believe a child has provided us personal information beyond the above, contact us and we will delete it promptly.

Information we collect

• Account details the parent provides, such as an email address.
• Child profile display name and age range, used to choose suitable stories.
• Reading progress, such as which story and page you were last on.
• Purchase and subscription status when you buy a plan.
• Crash diagnostics and basic device information used to fix problems.

Third-party services

We rely on the following third-party services. Each processes data only for the stated purpose:

Firebase Authentication

Signing you in and linking your subscription to your account. Firebase Analytics data collection is disabled in Pufimo.

Firebase Crashlytics

Diagnosing crashes so we can fix them. Crash reports are not linked to advertising identifiers and are not used for profiling.

RevenueCat (Purchases)

Managing subscriptions and in-app purchases, including receipt validation and entitlement status.

Cloudflare R2 (Content delivery)

Serving story artwork and narration audio to your device.

Your rights

You may request access to, correction of or deletion of your personal data at any time, including everything associated with a child profile. You may also object to processing, request a portable copy of your data, or withdraw consent.

You can delete your account and all associated data from inside the app, or follow the steps on our account deletion page.
