Deleting your account

From the app

1. Open Pufimo and go to Parents. You'll be asked a short multiplication question. This is the parent gate.
2. Choose Account, then Delete account.
3. Confirm. The account and its data are removed straight away.

By email

If you can't reach the app, for example you've lost the device, email hello@pufimo.com from the address on the account and ask us to delete it. We'll confirm the request, complete it within 30 days, and email you when it's done.

What gets deleted

• Your account and sign-in details.
• All child profiles, including display names and age ranges.
• Reading progress, favourites and continue-reading positions.

What we keep

We retain a minimal record of purchases where tax and accounting law requires it. These records are not used to identify or contact you, and they hold no child data. Anonymous, aggregated diagnostics that cannot be traced back to you may also remain.

Your subscription is separate

Deleting your Pufimo account does not cancel an active subscription, because billing is handled by Apple. Cancel it in iOS Settings: tap your name, then Subscriptions, then Pufimo. Otherwise it will keep renewing.
